How to Choose a Gaming Laptop Under $2000
RTX 5070 Ti vs RTX 5070
The RTX 5070 Ti is the faster GPU and better for 1440p at high settings. The RTX 5070 is a strong, lower-cost choice.
Match the Screen to the GPU
With an RTX 5070 or better, a 2560 x 1600 screen makes more sense than 1080p.
Aim for 32GB
Several laptops here include 32GB. If a model ships with 16GB, check whether it can be upgraded.
Size and Weight
A 14-inch or thin 16-inch laptop is easier to carry; 17-inch models are better as desktop replacements.
